A beautiful home with wonderful vaulted ceilings in the living spaces. Unfortunately, the kitchen was walled off from the home and had only 8' flat ceilings.
The client dreamed of a space where the kitchen was an extension of the living space. Where they would not be cut off from family and friends while entertaining but able to enjoy the gatherings while using the kitchen.
The dream was made a reality. The walls dividing the kitchen form the home where removed and the ceiling in the kitchen was vaulted to match the existing. A sink was added to the island allowing the home owner the ability to prep meals while facing family and friends.
